West Vancouver Family Fun | Family Portraits

On a glorious June evening, I photographed this fun-loving family in beautiful West Vancouver.  There was no shortage of laughs and play-time around the firepit and forest.

I first met Wendy & Alex during at a tasting at the Harmony Arts Festival in Ambleside Park a few years back.  Wendy kept my business card from then and called me 18 months later!  I remembered them from that event as they are so lovely.  A few months later we were with their kids creating portraits, and here are a few of the images:

They told me they sometimes sit together looking at the stars on a clear evening, so I ‘adjusted’ the light to seem more like evening.  I love how cozy it looks!

And don’t forget about Bella!  She’s an important (and very cute part) of the family.

She’s so well behaved!  She was rewarded with her favourite treats – cucumbers!!!

I love seeing siblings that can be silly together…  one is usually the start of the silliness and shortly after all three are silly too!

I love these shots as a collection, and it looks fabulous as a canvas wrap.

Thanks for the most wonderful evening!  This family knows how to have fun 🙂
