Day Nine: Writer Profiles: Portraits from the TWUC Conference | Christmastide – 12 days of blogging
Hello friends!
Today is Day 9 of the 12 days of blogging that coincides with Christmastide (the twelve days of Christmas).
We’re looking back to May of this year, when The Writer’s Union of Canada hosted it’s AGM and OnWords Conference at the Holiday Inn in Vancouver. I was the conference photographer and I set up a Headshot Portrait Marathon.
17 members signed up for our 4 hour event. We included a studio portrait and a natural light (on-location) portrait.
It’s amazing the diversity of work within this group of writers/authors/editors! Please click their names to see their websites.
(recently Meredith was the writer-in-residence at the Vancouver Public Library!)

17 portraits in less than 4 hours!
A big huge Thanks to my assistants – Belle Ancell and Caelie Frampton.
If you’re hosting an event or conference, consider how your members would benefit from a new portrait and contact Marlis on how a portrait marathon works!
